Steam & Steel Action Scene

This scene was a group project. In order to not represent other artists’ work as my own, I’ve omitted the boards I didn’t draw. The boards you see here pick up in the middle of the scene, and there are places where the narrative jumps ahead because another artist drew the boards in between mine.

Cosmic Clash was created by Snackcake Studios, a group of friends from high school who decided to stay in touch by making short animated films together. The film was awarded Best Animated Short Film by the Georgia Shorts Film Festival in fall 2019. Ellie was the Artistic Director and Layout Artist, and contributed some hand animation. Below are her layout designs and a clip of animation.
